Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and/or athletics in general.

Regarding baseballl, in the words of Ken Burns, "It's a beautifully designed game. Timeless, but always changing . . . It is a game in which the person scores, not the ball; where the objective, always, is to come home."

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?

Having my dad and my grandpa help out on various sports teams. My grandpa has been my assistant baseball and basketball coach.

Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.

Eric Liddel, Olympic runner and missionary, who acknowledged that God gives all athletic ability, and when we use our abilities, "we can feel God's pleasure."

What are your plans or goals after graduating from high school?

I plan to attend college, but I am not sure where.

What advice do you have for younger athletes?

Work hard, lead by example, and be humble.
