 A way out

What is meth?

Photo Methamphetamine -- meth -- is a powerful stimulant that experts say creates the same kind of high as cocaine, but is easier to manufacture and cheaper to buy.

Meth is usually found in powder form in colors ranging from pink, white to tan. Meth can be swallowed, snorted, or injected. It's sold in small plastic or paper packets or plastic bags. The paraphernalia associated with inhaling the drug are razor blades, mirrors, straws, and rolled dollar bills; the paraphernalia associated with injecting the drug include syringes, spoons, surgical tubing, bandanas, or a belt used to constrict the vein.
