Area wages war on methamphetamine
Mixed together, these ingredients create fumes and liquids that poison
ground water, endanger unsuspecting people such as roadside cleanup workers,
and cause fiery explosions. And it's being made more and more in
southeastern Minnesota.
A team of 10 P-B reporters, photographers, graphic artists and editors spent
several months investigating the problem, talking to meth users,
manufacturers, drug agents, pollution specialists, social workers and others
affected by the illegal drug.
The result is a five-part package of stories, photos and graphics that look
at the growing meth problem in our region and what authorities are doing
about it.
